China's structural transformation, which takes the economic transition as the mainstay, will lay a solid foundation for the country's high-quality development and inject strong impetus into global economic growth, according to experts attending the 88th International Forum on China Reform in Haikou, the capital of Hainan province.

在海南海口舉行的第88次中國(guó)改革國(guó)際論壇上，與會(huì)專(zhuān)家指出，中國(guó)以經(jīng)濟(jì)轉(zhuǎn)型為主線(xiàn)的結(jié)構(gòu)性改革將為中國(guó)的高質(zhì)量發(fā)展奠定堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)，為全球經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)注入強(qiáng)勁動(dòng)力。

High-quality development is the top priority of building a modern socialist country in all respects, said Kuang Xianming, deputy head of the Hainan-based China Institute for Reform and Development. China is at a critical juncture in its structural transformation and upgrading, a process that is playing an indispensable role in fostering high-quality development, he said.

中國(guó)（海南）改革發(fā)展研究院副院長(zhǎng)匡賢明指出，高質(zhì)量發(fā)展是全面建設(shè)社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化國(guó)家的首要任務(wù)，中國(guó)正處于結(jié)構(gòu)轉(zhuǎn)型升級(jí)的關(guān)鍵時(shí)期，而結(jié)構(gòu)轉(zhuǎn)型升級(jí)對(duì)于推動(dòng)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展發(fā)揮著不可或缺的作用。

The country should deepen the market-oriented reform of production factors, break monopolies in the service sector, establish a unified domestic market, improve intellectual property protection, and promote the reform of the education system in order to push forward structural transformation, Kuang said.

匡賢明表示，為了推動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)轉(zhuǎn)型，我國(guó)應(yīng)該深化以市場(chǎng)為導(dǎo)向的生產(chǎn)要素改革，打破服務(wù)行業(yè)的壟斷，建設(shè)全國(guó)統(tǒng)一大市場(chǎng)，加強(qiáng)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保護(hù)，推進(jìn)教育體制改革。

More efforts should be made to advance high-level opening-up, he said, with an emphasis on further opening the market in fields such as advanced manufacturing and services, and bolstering international cooperation in scientific and technological innovation.

匡賢明指出，要加大力度推進(jìn)高水平對(duì)外開(kāi)放，重點(diǎn)開(kāi)放先進(jìn)制造業(yè)和服務(wù)業(yè)等領(lǐng)域的市場(chǎng)，加強(qiáng)科技創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)域的國(guó)際合作。

China's structural transformation is expected to continuously unleash the domestic economy's growth potential and serve as an important driving force for global economic development, he added.

匡賢明表示，中國(guó)的結(jié)構(gòu)轉(zhuǎn)型將會(huì)持續(xù)釋放我國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的增長(zhǎng)潛力，并成為全球經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的重要推動(dòng)力。

China's innovation capabilities have grown significantly. The nation moved up to 11th place on the World Intellectual Property Organization's Global Innovation Index 2022, which was 23 places higher than its 2012 ranking.

Zhang said the country should increase its total factor productivity, improve its scientific and technological innovation mechanism, promote the integration of the digital economy with real economy and gain a competitive edge in digital technologies globally.

張占斌指出，我國(guó)應(yīng)提高全要素生產(chǎn)率，優(yōu)化科技創(chuàng)新機(jī)制，推動(dòng)數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)和實(shí)體經(jīng)濟(jì)的融合，在全球數(shù)字技術(shù)領(lǐng)域搶占競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)。

Liu Xinghua, director of the Chinese Center for Economic and Financial Studies of the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy, who is also a distinguished professor of Tongji University, stressed the need to build a high-standard socialist market economy and improve the efficient technological innovation system to further stimulate the vitality of the economy through deepening reform and opening-up.

中科院國(guó)創(chuàng)會(huì)中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)與金融研究中心主任、同濟(jì)大學(xué)特聘教授劉興華指出，要通過(guò)深化改革開(kāi)放，構(gòu)建高水平社會(huì)主義市場(chǎng)經(jīng)濟(jì)體制，構(gòu)建完善高效的科技創(chuàng)新體系，以進(jìn)一步激發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)活力。
