中國婦女第十三次全國代表大會10月23日在人民大會堂開幕。近1800名來自全國各行各業的中國婦女十三大代表和90名來自香港特別行政區、澳門特別行政區的特邀代表出席大會。
The 13th National Women's Congress opened on Monday in Beijing at the Great Hall of the People. Around 1,800 delegates to the congress, along with 90 specially invited delegates from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, attended the congress.

中華全國婦女聯合會是全國各族各界婦女在中國共產黨領導下為爭取進一步解放而聯合起來的社會群眾團體，是黨和政府聯系婦女群眾的橋梁和紐帶。全國婦女代表大會，每五年舉行一次，在特殊情況下，經執行委員會討論決定，可提前或延期召開。
中國婦女第十三次全國代表大會于10月23日至26日在北京召開。其間，大會聽取和審議全國婦聯第十二屆執行委員會的報告，修改《中華全國婦女聯合會章程》，選舉產生全國婦聯新一屆領導機構。
